Teen Camp
“FIGHT TO THE FINISH” was the theme of this year’s teens summer camp! It was held last April 15-17, 2011 at Chateau Royal, Batangas City. This camp was different from the previous ones in that both the lessons and the amazing race had something different in store compared to the previous one. From the lessons to the very challenging amazing race, every activity felt like such a blast. The realizations they had, made it more meaningful especially to the different members of the team they were assigned to. Even though they were not so united at first, everyone was willing to help each other, and in the end, became not only unified but inseparable.
The teens were very grateful to people who made this possible especially their parents, the teens coordinators, workers, and Igo & Chizzy Soncuya for facilitating the team building activities & amazing race. Thanks to Bobby & Susan Montealegre, our congregational teen ministry coordinators. The teens not only built new friendships with other teens, they also learned and got insights to fight real battles in life.
Another equally exciting summer activity, the MMCC Teen Ministry is also delighted to share the great success of the recently concluded fund raising event entitled, "SHOWTIME- Teen Edition of 2011” held at CAP bldg. last May 29, 2011. A talent night where teens had showcased their talent in dancing, singing and acting. It was well attended by more than 400 guests!
We aim to equip every teen to be God-loving and serving, at the same time enjoying pure fun with the company of other teens. To God be all the glory!!!
